In Case Of Emergency Call…Pecan Tree Dental

Wouldn’t it be nice if there were no such things as accidents or emergencies? If you went through life worrying about emergencies and accidents every day you would be basket case! You can’t control what is going to happen each day, but there is one thing that can give you a sense of security…knowing someone will be there when you need them. At Pecan Tree Dental we are here if you need us during a dental emergency. Even if you have never been here before we will accommodate your needs. Although you don’t like to think about it, and you hope the need never arises, emergencies can happen. In case of emergency call…Pecan Tree Dental.

Dental Emergencies

Lost tooth: If you or your child has a tooth knocked out it is possible your tooth can be reattached. Find and save the tooth and either place it back into the socket, in between your cheek and gum, or store it in a container of milk to keep it moist. Time is of the essence so make an emergency dental appointment as soon as possible.
Broken or chipped tooth: A broken or chipped tooth should not be ignored. See your dentist right away.
Abscessed tooth: An untreated tooth infection can develop into an abscess. Symptoms of an abscessed tooth include swelling, severe pain in the tooth and gum, and possibly a fever.
Abscessed gum: If a gum abscess develops, symptoms include pain and bleeding.
Inflammation: Acute pulpitis is the inflammation of your tooth pulp due to infection or irritation, etc. It can cause severe pain and will need emergency treatment.
