Halloween Fun In Grand Prairie

Halloween is next week! Which means there is plenty of time to enjoy some Halloween fun with your family. In today’s blog, your Grand Prairie, TX, dentist looks at some spooky events happening in our community. We also want to remind you that with a visit to our office, we can help you attend events like these with a bright and healthy smile!

Thrasher Slasher

You can check out Halloween stage shows at Thrasher Slasher Scarepark from now through October 31st at Action Park Grand Prairie on 1002 Lone Star Parkway. The event starts at 7pm each evening, and transforms the Alliance Skatepark into the Alliance Scarepark, with haunted houses, photo ops, concessions and games, and live stage shows. There will be costumed monsters and performances too, so don’t miss out!

Nights of Frights

Saturday, October 26th is the last night of Ripley’s Believe It or Not’s Nights of Frights. The fun will last from 7pm until 11pm at 601 East Palace Parkway. The Fright Combo is $29 and the Grand Scarie Pass is $60. The night will feature costumed performers walking around ready to scare you, as well as the Wax Museum of Fear, the 7D Carnival Ride, Escape the Haunted Mirror Maze, and more. You can get tickets in person or online, and this may be too scary for kids under the age of 10.

Street N Treat

There is Halloween fun for everyone at Street N’ Treat on October 31st at Grand Prairie City Hall on 237 West Northwest Street. The event lasts from 5pm until 9pm, and is hosted by the Grand Prairie Parks, Arts, and Recreation Department. Admission is free, and your family can enjoy games, face painting, children’s activities, and plenty of opportunities for kids to dress in costumes and trick or treat.

Dia de Los Muertos

When Halloween ends, it is time for Dia De Los Muertos, and there is a celebration hosted by Vidorra Grand Prairie on November 2nd from 10am until 11:30pm at 2959 South State Highway. This will be an entire day and night of food, culture, and incredible vibes.
