For the third year in a row, you and any interested family members can enroll at Green Prairie University, and spend a day learning about healthy, nutritious and environmentally positive ways to make a difference in your own life, and in the Grand Prairie, TX community. Not only is it a day filled with interesting workshops for all ages, but breakfast items and lunch will be included for registered participants! It begins at 8:00 AM and will end at 2:30 PM

Registration will be open after June 1. Register for Green Prairie University online by visiting: www.gptx.org/kgpb, This event is very popular, so you will want to register in advance.
Sample classes include FoodScaping (for edible gardens), Adaptive Landscaping, Composting, a “Make and Take” Fairy Tale garden activity and more. Prizes will be given away to some lucky participants at the conclusion of the event. Classes are taught by horticulturists, arborists, experts from Texas A&M, and others.
