The Grand Prairie Department of Parks, Art, and Recreation will be hosting an Easter egg hunt at Mike Lewis Park tomorrow starting at 10am! Admission is free and kids ten and under can hunt for thousands of candy- and prize-filled eggs. Kids will be divided in four age groups to ensure fairness, with each group having their own hunt. There will also be a petting zoo, activities for all ages, a photo op with the Easter Bunny, and plenty of food and other goods available for purchase from local vendors and food trucks! A great way to celebrate the holiday with the family.

Hop, Hunt, and Brunch

The Chicken N Pickle will be hosting a Hop, Hunt, and Brunch tomorrow and Sunday from 10am until 2pm. They are located at 2965 State Highway 161. This will be a day of fun activities for the whole family! From 10am until noon there are photos with the Easter Bunny. Then there is an a-la-carte brunch from 10am until 2pm. Kids can sign up for a pickleball mini clinic from 10:30am until 11:30am. Finally, there will be an egg hunt for kids at 11am. Children will be divided into age groups. On Sunday, your family can get photos with the Easter Bunny from 10am until noon, and there will be a brunch buffet from 10am until 2pm. Your family can also play bingo! Don’t miss out, there is something fun on both days.

Earth Day in the Prairie

Celebrate the planet with Earth Day in the Prairie tomorrow April 19^th from 1pm until 5pm. This will take place at EpicCentral on 2960 Epic Place. There will be a full day of family-friendly activities for everyone to enjoy. You can also learn more about ways to protect the planet! There will be local artisans with sustainable products for purchase, and food tricks will be offering tons of amazing foods. The event will have live music. There will also be fun outdoor games or all ages too! The perfect way to spend your weekend, so be sure to show up on Saturday.
