Tianyu Lights Festival

What if a holiday light display could also tell a story? You should bring the family to see the Tianyu Lights Festival this weekend! The show is located at the Festival Grounds of Texas trust CU Theatre on 1001 Texas Trust Way. This will tell the story of a seven-year-old boy named Koda, who is on an adventure through a magical rainforest in Caballacocha, Peru. This is told through 19 immersive light displays, as well as folk songs and acrobatic performances. Admission is from $16 to $35.

Ice Skating Downtown

What is a better way to celebrate the holidays than ice skating? You can bring the family to the Ice-Skating Downtown event from now through the 28th on 300 West Main Street. Fridays, this is open from 5pm until 8pm, Saturdays noon until 9pm, and Sundays from noon until 8pm. This is free and includes a free skate rental and a Christmas tree photo op! They will be closed on Christmas day.

Prairie Lights

There are so many opportunities to see fun holiday lights in our community. The Prairie Lights display will take place from now through the end of the month. This is located at the Lynn Creek Park at Joe Pool Lake. You can see them daily from 6pm until 10pm. You and your family can see two miles of light displays featuring over 4 million lights, all shapes into arches and fun displays. Halfway through you can park your car to see the Holiday Village for free carnival rides, concessions, and pictures with Santa. There is even a walk-thru holiday forest. You then continue to drive until you get to the epic finale!
