November Fun In Grand Prairie

The Tianyu Lights Festival takes place starting on November 8^th and lasting through the 19^th of January. The light display takes place at Festival Ground of Texas Trust CU Theatre on 1001 Texas Trust Way. Adjacent to Lone Star Park, this is a walk-through experience with 19 immersive light displays to see, all themed around the Caballococha rainforest in Peru. There will also be performances from acrobats and folk singers, and plenty of refreshments and souvenirs available for purchase.

The Create Epic Open Mic Night

The Create Epic Open Mic Night takes place at the Epic Theater on 2960 Epic Place. You can enter to do your own standup or reading, or you can be in the audience and enjoy a night of poetry, comedy, and more. You can also play music, and see talented musicians from across the city! The show is family friendly, and open to all ages. $10 tickets will include refreshments and beverages.

Twisted Karaoke

Twisted Karaoke takes place at the Chicken N Pickle on 2965 South State Highway 161 every weekend from now through December 27^th. The show next takes place today from 7pm until 11pm. You can sing or just enjoy an evening of performances. A great way to unwind and start your weekend.

Farmers Market

Be sure to check out the local farmers market, open each weekend from now through December 14^th. The market will be located at 120 West Main Street, each Saturday from 8am until 1pm. You can find fruits, veggies, meats, breads, crafts, and more created by local farmers, bakers, and artisans. There is always something new and amazing to find, so don’t miss out!

Brunch and Bingo

Look for a fun weekend activity with the family? Then try Brunch and Bingo at the Chicken N Pickle on 2965 South Highway 161. This takes place on Sunday, with the Bingo portion lasting from 11am until 1pm. The Brunch Buffet lasts from 10am unto 2pm.
