3 Reasons To Pat Yourself On The Back: 2016 Edition

When you spend time reflecting on an entire year, there are a lot of things to consider! There’s your work life, your social life, your love life, your general well being, and a million other areas of your journey on this planet. The one we are most interested in, of course, is your oral health! How did you do throughout 2016? While it’s possible you had some ups and downs over the year when it comes to your smile, we suggest you take a moment to consider some reasons to pat yourself on the back. Focusing on the positive is always a helpful way to transition into the New Year!

Reason #1: You’re Reading This Blog

If you’re reading this, you’re clearly interested enough in your oral health to be taking steps to keep it as safe as possible. The year isn’t over yet, so your efforts in additional education and research deserve a pat on the back!

Reason #2: You Did Your Best

If you did your best throughout 2016, give yourself a pat on the back! We know that focusing your undivided attention on your oral health is not always a possibility. However, when you put forth solid effort in caring for your smile, it’s quite valuable. Good job!

Reason #3: You Learned A Lot

Whether you kept your smile in immaculate condition throughout 2016 or if your oral health slipped a bit, we encourage you to focus on something: You either learned how to properly care for your teeth and gums for effective results or you found out what doesn’t work and are in the process of improving your habits.
