On Friday, August 22nd at 7pm you and your family can see a screening of Sonic 3 at Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake on 3401 Ragland Road. Admission is just $20 per vehicle, and you can bring blankets, pillows, water rings, or lawn chairs to ensure you are comfortable through the screening.
Pickle Fest 2025
Mark your calendars for Pickle Fest 2025 on Saturday, September 6th from 10am until 2pm. Hosted by the Grand Prairie Parks, Arts, and Recreation department, this will take place in Downtown Grand Prairie on 120 West Main Street. Admission is free and there will be over 80 vendors, with everything from pickle snow-cones to pickling kits and even pickleball gear! There will be a popup pickleball tournament, live music, a kid zone with petting zoos and a bounce house.
Family Camp Out
Make amazing memories with your family by taking part in Family Campout on September 13th and 14th. This event is hosted by the Grand Prairie Parks, Arts, and Recreation and takes place at Loyd Park at Joe Pool Lake. This is great for seasoned campers or people who have never camped before. Bring your tent and sleeping bag, and there will be an evening of fun family-friendly events. Admission is $50 per campsite.
