Rhythm and Roots: A Black History Experience at GPECC

Celebrate Black History Month today at the Grand Prairie Events and Convention Center on 2925 South State Highway 161. This event is being hosted by the Grand Prairie Black History Committee, and will include exciting and informative performances. Don’t miss out!

Texas County Reporter Fest

Mark your calendar for the Texas Country Reporter Fest taking place on Saturday, April 26th from 10am until 7pm. This annual event will happen in Downtown Grand Prairie on 300 West Main Street. This will be the 29th annual celebration, with over 100 vendors, food trucks, artisans, and more. There will be live music and plenty of food and merchandise to purchase. Admission is free!

Epic Vibe Festival

The Epic Vibe Festival is taking place today until 10pm at The Epic on 2960 Epic Place. This is the inaugural festival and will feature three stages of live music, each with a unique vibe. There will be jazz, blues, mariachi bands, and more, with talented acts that are local and national too. There will be skateboard demonstrations too, along with art, food, and more!

Dallas Blues Festival

The 20th Annual Dallas Blues Festival will take place on March 1st from 7pm until 8:30pm at Texas Trust on 1001 Texas trust Way. There will be performances from Glenn Jones and Regina Belle, as well as other great blues performers. So, mark your calendars!

Animatronic Dinosaurs

You and your family can check out Animatronic Dinosaurs on the GrandLawn from March 8th through the 23rd, from 8am until 10pm daily. They will be located at the Grand Lawn at EpicCentral on 2961 State Highway 161. Hosted by The Grand Prairie Libraries and EpicCentral, this will feature life-size dinosaurs, including the T. Rex, Stegosaurus, and the Brachiosaurus. These are lifelike models that moves and roars! Entry is free for all ages, and there will be daily activites too.
