What Is This?
The STAR Certified Master Composter Class is an opportunity to become certified as a master composter through the State of Texas Alliance for Recycling or to simply gain a whole lot of beneficial education in regard to composting. Through 20 hours of education in and out of the classroom, in addition to suggested volunteer hours, you’ll be a master in no time!
When Is It?
The upcoming course will be taking place on April 6th, 2019 and April 13th, 2019. Remember to register online, with a physical application, or by phone in order to save your spot.
Where Is It?
The master course will be held through the City of Grand Prairie Solid Waste and Recycling Division. For classroom location, you may contact 972-237-4566 for further details. Volunteer hours may be completed at multiple locations, including the Kirby Creek Garden.
How Much Does It Cost?
The course costs $25 per resident of Grand Prairie (or $40 per non-resident) and includes class time, the course book, and lunch.
